Operational and strategic purchasing of manufacturing parts, assemblies, and semi-finished products
Supplier search, evaluation, and development in a national and international context
Establishing new suppliers for the production of assemblies, including technical coordination, creation of quality requirements, and support until the first delivery.
Request and quotation management, conducting price comparisons as well as preparation and conduct of negotiations
You are responsible for disassembly and reassembly, maintenance, servicing, and commissioning for our global customers.
Technical evaluation of offers in close collaboration with development and production
Participation in make-or-buy decisions
Continuous optimization of procurement processes with regard to quality, cost, and delivery times.
Support for the introduction of new products and technologies through early and appropriate procurement.
You have completed a technical training (e.g. precision engineering, master craftsman, technician) or a technical degree (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial engineering)
You have some initial professional experience in technical purchasing, ideally in an industrial company.
You have basic knowledge of manufacturing technologies in the areas of cutting, sheet metal processing, or plastics technology.
You can read and assess technical drawings and specifications with confidence.
You are proficient in the use of ERP systems.
You have negotiation-level German skills and good English skills.
You are prepared to travel regularly to suppliers to conduct alignments, inspections, and quality checks on site.
