Sterilizable bags made from Tyvek® are specialized sterilization packaging solutions for medical and pharmaceutical applications. They are mode from a nonwovenmaterial composed of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) developed by DuPontTM, which combines high microbial barrier with excellent tear resistance.
Tyvek® header bags are specialized sterilization packaging solutions primarily used in the medical technology and pharmaceutical industriess. They typically combines a transparent, gas-impermeable film with a strip or insert made of Tyvek® – a non-woven, breathable material from DuPont™. This design allows for the sterilization of medical instruments or sets, which are packaged in otherwise gas-tight film bags (e.g., aluminum or multi-layer films), with gases like ethylene oxide (EO).
