Training at B&B
Do you have strong spatial awareness?
Do you want not just to build technology, but to develop it? As a Technical Product Designer at B&B, you design and construct assemblies for our modern packaging machines – digitally, precisely and with a future-focused approach. You work closely with engineers and designers and turn ideas into finished, implementable designs.
Prerequisite:
Duration of training:
3.5 years
Vocational school:
Rheine
Technical Drawing
Understanding and applying the fundamentals of technical drawing, standards, line types, and drawing techniques.
CAD Design with SolidWorks
Create 2D and 3D models, model parametrically and develop assemblies.
Component and Assembly Development
Develop constructions taking into account function, material, cost, and manufacturability.
Materials Science
Learn about materials and their properties and choose them purposefully.
Understanding Manufacturing Processes
Milling, turning, welding, or injection molding – considering manufacturing aspects already during the design phase.
Standards & Guidelines
Safely apply and comply with industry standards.
Simulation & Analysis
Check components for load capacity, function, and efficiency.
Documentation & Presentation
Create technical documents and present projects clearly.
Practice in Production
Gain insights into manufacturing, mechanical assembly and quality assurance.
Interest in technology and construction
Mathematics, physics, and computer science are among your stronger subjects.
Spatial imagination
Creativity and technical understanding
Care and accuracy
Engagement, reliability and sense of responsibility
Real projects even during the training
Intensive support from experienced colleagues
Modern workshop
Varied tasks
Very good opportunities for advancement
Future-proof job
With us, you do not develop theoretical projects.
You construct real assemblies for machines that are used worldwide.
You think technically. You work precisely. You design the future.
