The B&B Bag Filler BF 60C is an automatic bag packaging system for toilet paper and kitchen rolls with a modular structure and high process reliability. Products are fed into the machine in multiple lanes (typically 4 lanes) and grouped into the desired formation through feeding/shaping, before being inserted into pre-fabricated bags on wickets via the main infeed. The bags are separated and opened using vacuum arms, then folded, reliably sealed over a sealing tower, and any film remnants are vacuumed away for a clean process finish.

The system is designed as a modular construction system, with a stable base frame, height-adjustable feet and large transparent protective doors with safety switches; all safety devices comply with CE conformity. Central adjustments and program-based reproducibility are available for varying formations and bag formats, including servo-motor drives for filling openings, lifting movements and transport functions. The bag magazine area offers multiple stacking locations and a servo-driven pusher chain that can be adjusted for different bag widths, while the cross-sealing is designed with folding for single and double lane operation.

In other versions the bag filler is also used to pack napkins or C-fold towels in bags.

Feeding and shaping:

Multi-lane delivery (standard 4 lanes) with grouping of products into defined formations before the main infeed.

Insertion mouth and vacuum opener:

Bag opening station with vacuum bag opener, servo-motor-driven filling mouth, programmable stroke adjustment and opening angle, as well as safety and jam detection via torque limitation. Format positions are reproducible via software.

Bag magazine BF 60:

Three or six bag stack positions, servo-motorized lifting station, bag query, quick bag change via a chain, adjustable for different bag widths.

Transverse welding with folding:

Execution for single- and dual-lane operation; process-safe folding and welding over the cross sealing unit with extraction of the film remnants.

Transport and delivery:

Servo-driven rod chain conveyors and belt conveyors for precise product transfer and length adjustment for different bag depths; speed control via frequency converters.
