We are currently looking for a Sales Engineer / Manager to join our team in Green Bay, WI. This is a key role within our Sales Organization, reporting directly to the Managing Director. If you have a passion for technical sales, business development, and relationship management, this is an exciting opportunity to drive sales growth and represent cutting-edge packaging solutions across North America.

What You’ll Do:

  • As a Sales Engineer / Manager your key responsibilities will include:
    › Business Development – Proactively prospect, develop, and grow new sales opportunities in North America
    › Sales Cycle Management – Handle long and complex sales cycles for packaging machinery
    › Customer Relationship Management – Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
    › Technical Sales – Develop a hands-on understanding of B&B’s bag/pouch-making machinery and end-of-line packaging systems
    › Prepare and respond to RFIs (Requests for Information) and RFPs (Requests for Proposals) for potential customers
    › On-Site Support – Assist with factory and site acceptance testing of packaging systems
    › Represent B&B at domestic and international trade shows, as well as direct visits to potential and existing customers
    › Project Estimation & Offers – Estimate equipment costs and prepare project offers for new customer requests
    › Sales Team Collaboration – Work closely with sales personnel and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution
    › Other Responsibilities – Assist with trade show planning, sales strategy development, and other assigned duties

This position requires approximately 50% travel, with the potential for higher travel demands during the initial training period.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience in technical sales or capital equipment sales
  • A proven track record in sales and account management, with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong understanding of technical products and a willingness to learn the engineering aspects of packaging machinery
  • Self-Motivation & Organization: Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision and drive sales growth proactively
  • Teamwork & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across various departments and management levels
  • Computer Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Language Skills (Preferred but Not Required): Bilingual in Spanish and/or German is a plus
